Along the way, we made a delightful pit stop at Zaheerabad, immersing ourselves in the local culture, as we explored the beauty of its mosques and temples.

As Bidar comes into view, perched on the Deccan Plateau, you’ll be mesmerized by its picturesque setting. The city stands tall, boasting an array of architectural marvels, religious landmarks, and historical sites. One of its standout attractions is the Bidar Fort, a true marvel of architecture that has stood the test of time for over 500 years. Stepping inside the fort feels like taking a journey through the 15th-century’s history, where you can marvel at the intricate carvings adorning the Rangeen Mahal and admire the masterful craftsmanship of the carved wooden pillars and couplets engraved on tiles. Each piece of mesmerizing mother-of-pearl inlay work tells its own tale of dedication and artistry.
