Do you think you are not a soap person just like I do?
I am going to change this thought for you. I have stumbled upon these handcrafted soap this summer and I am going gaga over these for sure. I have my reasons and would love to share it with you guys. These soaps did change my idea and understanding of the whole idea regarding soaps. Well, I can say I am in love with this handcrafted soap and these soap bars are replacing my shower gel. Here is the list of soaps that I have personally tried from snato.
Healer – contains lemon and chamomile and chamomile tea has been used as additives. Glycerin based, Refreshing Fragrance. This was the first soap that I used and within a weeks time, I understood the difference it made in my skin. This is my go-to soap each time I come back home from the heat scorching summer afternoons. The smell itself is so relaxing.
Beach Please – A beautiful green colour soap which contains Eucalyptus and Peppermint. this combination refreshes you. It has a super cute shea butter seashell inside that helps to keep your skin moisturized. This is also Glycerin-based, Aromatic and mood uplifting.
Summer Escape – This is my most favourite, it contains Rose geranium, dried organic rose petals. The soap is Aloe vera based which is an excellent property for skin cooling and stress buster. So no need to escape anywhere this summer, Snato has everything covered for you.
Tangy Star – Orange bar, this reminded me of orange ice cream sticks summer especially. Brought back a lot of childhood memories. this orange soap bar brought a lot of satisfaction just with its aroma. So but obviously, it contains orange and star anise oil which helps in muscular aches or pains. Surely this is a star product. A soap made with love can do wonder, isn’t it?

1. Tells me something about you guys. Your life, career, family etc
This is Debasmita Bose, by profession an IT engineer. I stay at Kolkata with my husband and parents and I have a younger sister. Soaping is my ultimate relaxation of mind. In my free time, I love to read and travel.
2. How did you start this business?
Snato has been an unplanned start and the idea behind starting this brand was to create a line of handmade luxurious organic soaps in an affordable range. Commercial soaps are often very harsh and thus tend to make our skins stretchy and rough. Snato’s prime focus is to design soaps which are gentle and help in retaining the suppleness of our skins.
3. What are your plans?
I plan to bring in more varieties of soaps and incorporate more organic additives in my upcoming range. I am already in process to introduce Snato’s skincare and bathing range, besides soaps.
We are also planning to work on gift boxes and order customizations.
4. What lead you into this business?
I wanted to make soaps for myself as commercial ones tend to make my skin harsh. In process of learning and market research, I understood there still not much availability of, paraben and sulphate free soaps in Indian, especially Kolkata market. So, the thought came to make it available to people who are looking for harsh free indulgence at shower.
