Hi, I hope you enjoying reading these blogs. If you haven’t gone over the first blog then please go over it here is the link – http://lostloveadventure.com/what-is-yoga-how-it-can-change-your-life/

What are the benefits of yoga?
If you have ever taken a yoga class before you come to find that after you feel refreshed and rejuvenated, which is no coincidence. As yoga has been scientifically proven to have a profound effect on an individual both mentally and physically. There are hundreds of positive ways yoga
benefits us. I could go on about this all day, but to name a few:

Physical
● Releases pain and tension in the body
● Increases flexibility, balance
● Builds muscle strength
● Improves bone, joint, and spine health
● Increases blood flow and lung function
● Lowers blood pressure and blood sugar

● Regulates adrenal glands
● Boosts immune system and digestion

Mentally
● Quiets your mind
● Decreases stress and anxiety
● Increases self-esteem and inner strength
● Improves concentration, focus, and awareness
● Benefits relationships with self and others
● Allows you to connect with your true self

What makes yoga so powerful is it is based upon holistic principles of harmony and unification. By connecting the movements of your body, to the rhythm of your breath, with the root of your thoughts, it stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system. Directly affecting all of the other
systems and organs in our body to enter into a state of relaxation and balance. In addition, yoga teaches you how to shift your awareness inward, allowing you to be conscious of your thoughts. As we become aware of our thought patterns we can learn how to address them in a healthy and loving way rather than try to suppress or judge them. Allowing one to live in a state of bliss and clarity.

Conclusion
In today’s society, we are far more technologically advanced, comfortable, and connected around the world than ever before. However, In this modern time of being in a constant state of being on the go, wanting it all, and being the best our emotional stability declines day by day. Resulting in physical and psychological stress and strains to be at an all-time high. Therefore, learning how to navigate the stresses of everyday life is crucial if we truly want to thrive and live our best life. Especially during times like now when with all of the chaos occurring in the world. Yoga is an effective and scientifically proven way to do just this and more in a natural
holistic way through unifying the mind, body, and soul. It a self-development practice that first works to make our body stronger, more flexible, and healthy. Allowing one to the ability to then explore within and create awareness in the mind. Which over time creates a state of peace and balance between the two. In other words, it is an art of controlling your mind, body and breath to allow connection with our true self and full potential.

I can personally vouch behind yoga’s transformative effects. Ever since I was introduced to the practice in 2015 I experienced a shift in all aspects of my life: physically, mentally, and spiritually. It has helped me so much that I decided to come all the way to India to study yoga in the roots of where it originated and became a certified teacher. It is now my mission to help spread the positivity of yoga to as many people as possible in a way that is accessible and of value to all walks of life. If you are thinking about starting yoga or deepening your current practice I would be honoured to guide you along your journey. I am currently offering private and group yoga classes where we dive into yoga practice/the philosophy behind it, to cultivate strength mentally and physically, to unlock our inner power.

So the important question is, are ready to begin your journey? If so, contact me for class information. I can’t wait to hear from you!

Namaste! I’m Karlie- a certified educator and yoga instructor. In 2018 I left my hometown in the midwest USA to pursue my dream of exploring the world. Where I first spent a year in Saigon, Vietnam teaching kindergarten. Afterwards, I decided to shift my direction in order to continue travelling full time as I follow my passion for yoga and holistic health. I also love to write and to share my experiences while travelling, and this is how my blog- Exploring Educator was born.  Where I discuss topics related to travel,  holistic health, conservation, and education.
