Ingredient
- Potato – 500 gms, cut into small pieces
- Turmeric Powder – 1/2tsp
- Onion – sliced onion
- Coconut flakes – 2tsp
- Green Chillies – 3
- Coconut Oil – 3 to 4 tbsp
- Mustard Seeds – few
- Curry Leaves – a handful
- Crushed red chilly, garlic, shallots, peppercorn.
- Salt as per taste
Method
Half cook the potatoes with turmeric powder and salt. Heat oil in a pan. Fry the mustard seeds and curry leaves till it starts to splutter. Add sliced onion, coconut flakes and crushed masala add the half-cooked potatoes and green chillies. Simmer until dry. Transfer to a serving dish. Serve hot with plain rice and sambar.
